  I am currently practicing clinical pharmacy in the community setting in Edmonton, Alberta. I was involved in health service research as a post doctoral fellow at the pharmacy and pharmaceutical science department of the University of Alberta. I also worked as an instructor of pharmacy program offered by Bredin to foreign pharmacy graduates. I taught “professional communication” and “Canadian healthcare system” to the pharmacy students of the faculty of pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences at the University of Alberta. I acquired my Ph.D. in pharmacy practice at the University of Alberta, Canada. Through my research, I explored the factors affecting pharmacist prescribing adoption in Alberta. Prescribing role is relatively a new paradigm in pharmacy practice in North America. One of my research goals was to explore pharmacist prescribing in the context of inter-professional health care team and development of strategies to improve the collaborative relationship of the pharmacist prescribers with physicians. I have knowledge and experience in research methodologies both quantitative and qualitative research. I also have knowledge of mixed method and knowledge translation research. Additionally, I have experiences of working in the Product Management Department of the Marketing Division in both newly launched company & the country's largest company of pharmaceutical sector in Bangladesh. I have the academic qualification in both Pharmacy & Business studies field. I want to be efficient and successful in the area of pharmacy practice and healthcare service-related research with the flair of understanding the global pharmacy and healthcare practice. Along with research and teaching, I want to continue my practice as a clinical pharmacist where I can practice my wisdom with innovating newer ideas along with improving present pharmacy practices.
